Woodbrook Patient Participation Group

This new group exists as a bridge between the practice and its patients.  The groups meets monthly and discusses matters of interest to the patients from day-to-day aspects such as the appointments system right through the local and national initiatives.  The Patient Participation Group (PPG) has direct links with other PPGs in the area and with the regional Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which is an agency of the NHS, which commissions services for hospitals and GPs.

The PPG assists the practice with campaigns, from bringing details of immunisation programmes to the attention of patients to involving patients in new NHS initiatives such as innovative and more efficient ways of dealing with patients with chronic conditions.

You can find out what we've been up to by looking at minutes of our meetings in the Meetings section of this site or by looking here at our News & Action section.
